What is STEM Summer?

STEM Summer offers free events and projects for UNM students to explore different UNM STEM degrees and STEM career options. Some activities include:

• Conduct research and design projects with faculty or industry leaders (even with very little coursework or work experience!)
• Travel with UNM faculty to various research sites in New Mexico and learn about their cutting-edge research
• Visit with New Mexico's STEM industry leaders to learn about their companies and how to get involved with their projects

STEM Summer events are especially great for first- and second-year students who are interested in exploring different STEM disciplines or learning more about research and emerging technologies. Check out our summer schedule and sign up for any or all of our events.
